I didn't really think about this before, but most of the cities I visited on this trip are not hyped up a whole lot, at least in my experience. Cincinnati is steeped in history, and its proximity to the North-South demarcation of our country contributed to its relevance in the war on slavery. I enjoyed Mt. Adams and the Purple People Bridge, as well as the Reds game I saw, but the highlight was definitely the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

Colombus, Ohio -- Another Underrated City
The Book Loft -- A very nice 32 room store. Not picture, which I uncharacteristically did not see -- Columbus is Buckeye mad for sports!

The Kentucky Horse Park
I am not the hugest fan of the equestrian industry, but I enjoyed my day at the Kentucky Horse Park, seeing demonstrations on horseback and famous horses from racing!

Serenity in Deleware
A beautiful day on Rehoboth Beach, a hop, skip, and jump from Cape May, New Jersey, completing my weekend. I would go biking later in the day.

The Met
Washington Crossing the Delaware -- One of the highlights of my trip to an excellent art museum! Too much to see in the building in one visit! I'll be back!

The Saint Susana Ranch
I went to South America and did something I could easily have done in the States. And it was arguably my best time on the trip! But I was too busy having fun to argue!

My Vanity
Being a gladiator is filled with extreme, potentially lethal danger. So why did men subject themselves to such abuse for the entertainment of the well to-do. Glory. In three words, as I understood it (feel free to correct me on this) -- women dug it! :)
I guess I'm as vain as the rest of the gladiators! :)

As I become more spiritual, I really appreciate recognition like this one in the Arlington Cemetery:
